At the time he moved to London to do his bachelor degree in music production at BIMM London - University of Sussex, Allan Low started to experiment with new sounds ranging from Nu-Funk to Soul and Alternative R&B. 

 

However coming from a Soul and R&B background Allan Low proved that he wouldn’t restrict himself by music genres or musical styles. Leading productions of the Lisbon-bornm singer Nayr Faquira or the Argentinian Ivana B he showed an ability to work outside of his comfort zone and across multiple genres.

 

As a multi instrumentalist being able to play drums, saxophone, bass-guitar and piano Allan Low understands the importance of arranging, song - writing and performance on one hand, but with a degree in music production he is also keen in implementing sound-manipulation, creative editing and audio processing as part of the production process and shaping of a unique sound.

 

His interest in music technology, gear and software crystallizes in his mixing process where he understands the value of a good and exciting mix coupled with his awareness of his customers vision to create the desired sound profile. His previous experience with mixing ranges from beat based Neo-Soul to trio performed Jazz to rhythm heavy afro-pop.
